Meet Kang!
Kang Jhih Liu is an award-winning designer based in Brooklyn, NY. She’s always on the move and loves to make people smile.
She focuses on branding, packaging, UI, UX, motion graphics, and 3D design. She has a bachelor’s degree in architecture and has worked in exhibition and interior design. She brings a unique perspective to the projects she works on by implementing diverse styles and techniques in her packaging work. She is extremely detail-oriented, carefully considering the components of a project. After working three years in the field, she decided to pursue her master’s at Pratt Institute and has sought practicality through design by implementing both her creative and architectural skills. She has successfully delivered minimalist yet functional design solutions.
Besides sharing her positive energy with everyone, Happy Kang likes to observe the tiny things that surround her daily life. She also cares deeply about social and environmental causes. She is currently experimenting with bioplastic materials as an alternative to traditional plastics and other waste materials. Whether she’s spreading positivity, designing beautiful and functional projects, or working on innovative solutions to environmental challenges, Happy Kang is always learning and creating, but most importantly, she is making the world a better place, one smile at a time.
